For those who don’t know, it’s a burger chain that used to be really popular in the western half of the United States. I haven’t had Arctic Circle in years, I’m not even sure where the closest one is to where I live, maybe in Idaho? I sort of miss their french fry sauce, that’s a really popular think in Idaho and Utah.Hey, I guess there are two left in my home state, one in Newport and one in Woodburn. I’m going, that’s all there is to it. I love the there.

Anyway, none of that has anything to do with this theme, Artica. If you read my blog a lot, I’m pretty critical of spelling issues and typos. It’s a lack f attention to detail and it can be symptomatic of bigger problems. So, imagine my complete surprise when I opened this theme up and spotted a pretty big error right off the bat. So, the text title says Artica and the image title says Arctica.

Now, that doesn’t mean the theme is guaranteed to be junk, but I don’t like it. It’s a bad omen.

They offer three attractive food menu versions, which is likely to be a really central part of your website, so let’s go over them. This is a bit of the first one, it’s highly visual.

Sort of like a Chinese restaurant, one of those places where you just point at what you want. I like those kinds of places. This menu is all about visual appeal. The second version is more traditional, a two column list of what your restaurant has to offer. Basic, functional. The third one is a, sort of combining the image heavy first version and the more traditional two column text and small picture version. I really don’t like that many places that have images of their food, so I’m not sure I love this theme.

Hundreds of available fonts, colors, social media options. Clean, valid and commented code, so things are very clear. So, here’s the bad news. This theme is based on Visual Composer, which is bad. It’s slow, there are massive issues with it.

I just really don’t recommend many themes that lean so heavily on Visual Composer. It’s not the best looking restaurant theme, so I guess I just don’t love it enough to full recommend it to anyone.
