How To Install Woai Files To Fsx

How to install woai

I just installed about 30 WoAI packages via the installer and then using AI Flight Planner to convert the packages to FSX format. All 30 seemed to install OK but when I start up FSX I get the following warning: 'There are multiple objects with the same title name. They must have unique title names'. (see attached.jpg for a screen shot of the warning) The warning message identified four of the 30 packages by name. It then ran through a list of all the AI aircraft that contained the four airlines.

All World of AI packages? To download the flightplans and aircraft all seperatley and install your AI traffic. Aware WOAI pushes out packages with such.

So I deleted all references to those airlines in Sim Objects/Airplanes, and also deleted the 4 airlines from Scenery/World/Scenery. The problem is that FSX still shows the same warnings even after I deleted all references to the offending airlines in both the airplanes folder and the scenery folder. That I don't understand. I could sure use some help with this. I just installed about 30 WoAI packages via the installer and then using AI Flight Planner to convert the packages to FSX format. Thanks. When you used the converter, did you have it append FSX to the Traffic file name(s) and then did you delete all of the old FS2004 style Traffic files? Pulse digital circuits anand kumar pdf. If not, you would have duplicate title= names as the error message is warning about. Yes I did delete the unconverted files.

Interestingly, I decided to reinstall the 4 packages but when I ran the installer it said they were already installed. I triple checked the scenery/world/scenery folder but they are not there. How could the install program say that? I'm stumped.WOAI keeps all the info regarding you have installed in a file (which has no extension) called WOAIDATA - in the WOAI installer folder. It sounds as if you uninstalled the packages in question manually rather than use the uninstall option in the 'expert mode' of the installer.

If that is the case, then the WOAIDATA file has no way of knowing you did that. I didn't know about the expert tab.

Cluing me in on this is huge! I did delete manually. I now went to the installer's expert tab and deleted the 4 packages that have caused a problem. No more error messages. Two things though, should I try to reinstall the packages, and the list of packages shown on the expert page lists only about a third of all my packages, how do I get to the rest of them? My thanks for your expert advice.I have only seen that when someone copied over a previous WOAI folder into a new setup and failed to copy the WOAIDATA file also. They then added a few packages - which were correctly placed in a fresh WOAIDATA file - leaving what what already installed not recorded.

Hate to say it, but you may be faced with removing - using the expert mode and manually deleting - all of your WOAI aircraft and Traffic files and starting over. If you do, I would select no more than five packages at a time to install and then I would verify that the data was correctly written before proceeding with the next group of five. A pain in the rear end I know, but probably worth the effort in the long run. That is what I would do but the choice is yours obviously.
